| Rapp Trans compensates for the climatic effective emissions of its business flights
Due to increasing activity abroad, there has been an escalation in the amount of business travel by our employees. In 2005, the CO2 emissions from our flights amounted to approximately 113 tons. Therefore we have decided to compensate for the climatic effective emissions of our flights in cooperation with "myclimate, the Climate Protection Partnership". This association supports, amongst other projects, the construction of a 100 kW biomass gasification power plant in Tamil Nadu (India), which supplies approximately 100 villages with electricity and replaces various diesel generators.
