Individual engagements
In 2020, we are giving one-off donations to support the following programmes, for example:
Haus der elektronischen Künste
The Haus der elektronischen Künste (House of Electronic Arts) Basel – aka HeK – is Switzerland's top address for engagement in all art forms that find expression through new technologies and media. HeK is dedicated to digital culture and the new art forms of the information age. It is a place for creative and critical discourse on the aesthetic, socio-political and economic impact of media technologies. We support HeK with a significant contribution to underscore our commitment to the digital transformation in the planning sector.
Digital Construction Event 2021
2021 is an important year for the digital transformation in Switzerland: Orderers start to introduce BIM as "mandatory". What does this mean, what is changing and what has already changed? At the Digital Construction Event "_xCH21" from 15 to 17 March 2021, these questions about the state of digitalisation in our country will be discussed. The event will be held in addition to the international buildingSMART Virtual Summit and is aimed equally at the entire construction and real estate industry.
With our support as a sponsor, we underline the importance of the BIM topic. Within the Rapp Group, the BIM/VDC specialist group specialist group introduces itself | Rapp Group)) is working on the integration of the BIM methodology in the company.
Bauen digital Schweiz
The Rapp Group has been a member of the association Bauen digital Schweiz since 2019. This association hosts the official Swiss chapter of buildingSMART International, coordinating its activities and promoting the exchange of information. Our membership allows us to present ourselves as an active partner for digital building projects in Northwestern Switzerland. We challenge and promote innovation in the area of virtual design and construction and advocate integral planning and engineering.
We are actively involved in the working group "BIM2Field" of buildingSMART Switzerland. Its goal is to promote understanding and quality enhancement of the BIM method for the entire construction and real estate sector.
The project includes the creation of an explanatory video that presents possible BIM applications for construction sites in Switzerland in a straightforward manner.
